SASES Meetings
The UF Agronomy-Soils Club is affiliated with the national organization Students in Agronomy, Soils and Environmental Sciences (SASES). This organization is the student activities division of the American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America. SASES is composed of chapters located at colleges and universities that provide a curriculum in agronomy, crops, soils and environmental sciences. A variety of programs and activities are offered on the local and national level for students to become professionally involved and to prepare for their future careers. Regional and National Meetings held each year are examples of how students can get involved and interact with others around the nation interested in Agronomy, Soils and Environmental Sciences.
The 2008 National Meeting will be held in Houston, TX from October 5-9. This year the tri-societies will be meeting jointly with the Geological Society of America. Click for more info.
